We have got a rough plan for what we will be filming on what day. We have four locations so we will be spreading them out over four days. We don't want to be over doing it one day and getting to the point where we aren't doing our best work anymore. Here is our plan;
Day 1 - The first day we are planning to go to the Wind farm five minutes from my house. I live out in the countryside so it's easy to access hills and fields from here. The perpose of these shots is that it will be really windy and probably very cold so that would all add to the atmosphere. Ideally we need to film on quite dark, dismal days because that, added to the cold and the wind would create the perfect condition for filming this kind of video in. Plus up at the windmills it is very deserted, just empty fields with a few sheep and country road running through. The main field we are choosing to use (the one with the most windmills) has a pebbled path running through it, this provided a convincing path for Chloe to use. Making it look as though she has gone for a walk to think about things, and with it being so remote and deserted it will make her look really lonely, like this was somewhere she used to come with her boyfriend so they could have some time alone. But now she is too alone. Missing him.
Day 2 - The second day of our filming is planned to be in my sister's room. We need somewhere with quite neuteral colours, nothing too bright or modern as that's not what we want. We considered each others houses but they were all too brightly coloured, and we wanted Chloe to be the main focus. Not the bold decor. This is why my sister's room was best. She has left home and gone to university so her room is more like a guest room now. Although she does have slight elements that are a little brighter than we'd like, her walls are magnolia - which is perfect for making Chloe the main focus.
Day 3 - The third day of our filming is set to take place on Townely. Townely is a pig park, very picturesc, and includes open fields. A grand hall (the house that The Townely's used to live in centuries ago) which we won't be able to film in as it's a sort of musium now - it's a tourist attraction as well as a wedding venue. There is also the woods, some of which surround the hall and some go off up to a mile away. This will have the same effect as the Wind farmdoes. It will show Chloe looking lonely around somewhere she previously used to visit with her boyfriend. However this would be a better place to show her singing as the Wind farm is too cold and windy for that - it's more atmospheric.
Day 4 - The fourth and final day of our filming will be the performance shots. We may have some problems with this though. Because the shots would look best in a dark room with, preferrably dark or black walls and just a single spotlight on her as she stums her guitar and sings. The only place suitable for this is in Sixth form. But we want to avoid using that building as much as possible because it makes it come across as though we have put little effort into finding somewhere. Another place we could use is The Mechanics - a theatre in town, but they are currently doing a production of 'Oliver!' so we aren't able to use their stage so we will probably use the auditorium at sixth form and use the black stage curtain for the backdrop and shine a spotlight one her.
